The research is based on REGIO JÁTÉK’s own sales data and the results of a survey conducted between 10-14 November 2025. are based on an online survey conducted between 2011 and 2012, in which 1,919 Hungarian parents raising children under the age of 14 participated.
The research is not representative of the entire Hungarian population, but it is suitable for mapping the opinions and shopping habits of families with young children.
According to the information, half of the parents participating in the research spend between 10,000 and 20,000 forints on a child’s Christmas gifts, and another quarter plan to spend 20,000 and 30,000 forints. 15 percent of families exceed the 30,000 forint limit per child, while every tenth parent tries to spend less than 10,000 forints on gifts, they wrote.
