The flavors of old Hungary can be tasted in the open air museum in Nyíregyháza during the weekend
Local and national dishes such as pepper, “crushing”, lean bread and cabbage chips are prepared by the invited cooking teams at the Flavors of Old Hungary Gourmet Festival on Sunday at the Sóstói Museum Village in Nyiregyháza.
At the event, mainly those simple meals will be served, which were made by our ancestors, from the middle ages, from basic materials and ideas – Szabó Sarolta, director of the institution said at the event’s heralding press conference on Wednesday. (MTI)
