SPAR wins prestigious prizes
In October SPAR Magyarország won the Retail Award of Excellence – a prize established by Hungarian Product Nonprofit Kft. and Trade magazin to reward those retailers who do the most for selling and popularising Hungarian products (companies with products bearing the Hungarian Product trademark can cast their votes). The award was presented to the winner by Sándor Farkas, Deputy Minister of Agriculture at the Business Days conference in Tapolca and accepted by SPAR’s managing director Gabriella Heiszler.
SPAR Magyarország also finished first – in a tie with Libri-Bookline Zrt. – in Mastercard’s Retailer of the Year competition. This contest calls attention to original and unique technological solutions in retail, inspiring development projects and rewarding retailers that wish to turn shopping into an experience for their customers.
What is more, SPAR Magyarország walked away with an award from SuperStore 2018 too: in the best customer experience category the company competed with the fully modernised INTERSPAR store in Tatabánya.
All of these recognitions motivate the retail chain for continuing to offer quality products and services, satisfy rapidly changing consumer needs, promote products made in Hungary and do CSR work in the future as well. (x)
