A Tokaji wine has received a prestigious award in Canada

The Dry by Tokaj wine of the Mád-based Szent Tamás Winery won the Top Imported White Wine of Canada award of the Vaughan, Ontario-based Top Choice Awards international marketing research firm – the Hungarian embassy in Ottawa informed MTI on Wednesday.

“This award is granted to those businesses and persons who passionately believe in what they do,” – David Silvestre, managing director of the Top Choice Awards said descrinbing the aim of the award at the award ceremony held at the Hungarian embassy on Tuesday.

“We tried to develop a wine with our partners that provides the best joint appereance of the wine regions wines and meets the taste of the Canadian wine consumers too – Szepsy István, chief winemaker of the Szent Tamás Winery told. (MTI)
