Philippe Donnet, CEO of the international Generali Group, received a prestigious award in New York
The Foreign Policy Association presented Philippe Donnet, CEO of the international Generali Group, with the award for corporate social responsibility at the 2023 Financial Services Dinner event. The award was presented by Larry Fink (CEO of BlackRock) and Harry A. Fernandez (CEO of MSCI). The recognition is a tribute to Donnet’s commitment to sustainability – which is at the heart of Generali’s “Partnership for life 24 – engine of growth” strategy.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Award is awarded to individuals and companies who are committed to exemplary social responsibility in their own communities. The Foreign Policy Association is America’s oldest think tank, with both Democratic and Republican members, and acts as a catalyst for awareness, understanding, and informed opinion on U.S. foreign policy and global issues. Through its balanced, nonpartisan programs and publications, FPA encourages citizens to participate in the foreign policy process. The prize was previously awarded to, among others, Peter Brabeck, honorary chairman of Nestle, Sir John Bond, former group chairman of HSBC Holdings, Anders Dahlvig, former president and CEO of IKEA, Sergio Ermotti, chairman of Swiss Re, Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, It was awarded to Indra Nooyi, former chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, and David Rubenstein, co-founder and co-chairman of The Carlyle Group.
