Randstad: a magyarországi vállalatok 50 százaléka nettó árbevételének növekedésére számít az idén
50 percent of the Hungarian companies surveyed expect their net sales to increase this year, with two-thirds of those affected expecting a 4-10 percent increase, and 21 percent expecting an even greater increase, according to Randstad’s 2025 HR Trends research.
The survey, conducted between October and December last year, interviewed senior managers from almost 400 Hungarian companies operating in various industries: 67 percent of the participants were international, 14 percent were national, and 18 percent were local. Randstad collaborated with global market research and analysis firm Evalueserve in the research.
It was found that in terms of sectors, the FMCG and HORECA sectors are the most optimistic, but the majority of companies operating in retail and logistics also expect an increase in sales. The continuous increase in the prices of basic consumer goods is giving rise to expansion in the food industry, which is also followed by trade and the transportation of goods, although in the latter the increase in gasoline prices is taking a significant bite out of profits.
For the first time in many years, those expecting growth are also in the majority in the construction industry, and their optimism may also be an indicator of changes in the broader economic climate.
They said that companies can be encouraged by the fact that, in terms of business challenges, wage pressure is decreasing due to lower inflation: 8 percent fewer people named increased wage costs as a challenge compared to last year’s survey. At the same time, they indicated that this remains of great importance, mentioned by 70 percent of respondents.
