Randstad Award 2023: Samsung, BT and Mercedes-Benz are the most attractive domestic employers
On April 20, 2023, this year’s domestic winners of the Randstad Award, the world’s most comprehensive employer brand research, were announced at a gala event in the Várkert Bazaar. Samsung became the most attractive domestic employer, BT (British Telecommunications) took second place, and Mercedes-Benz took third place, which is also the employer that has been on the podium most often in the last ten years. The most well-known is the telecommunications sector, but IT is still the most attractive for employees, and when choosing a job, in addition to the attractive salary, non-material benefits also play an important role.
This year, the most popular employers in our country were awarded the Randstad Award for the tenth time. Based on the results of the Randstad Employer Brand Research, the world’s largest independent employer brand research conducted in 32 countries, which took place in January 2023, Samsung is once again the most attractive domestic employer after 2021, BT won the silver medal, and Mercedes-Benz defended its podium position. This year, a jubilee prize was also awarded: the employer who was on the podium the most in the last ten years was awarded, so Mercedes-Benz bagged two recognitions, as it stood on the podium nine times in ten years.
IKEA, Magyar Nemzeti Bank, MOL, Richter Gedeon, Accor-Pannonia Hotels, Coca-Cola, McKinsey & Company, Magyar Telekom, Wizz Air, Microsoft and Market won special awards in their respective sectors. Építő Zrt. IKEA became the best-known employer.
