BILK changing its loading machinery

BILK Kombiterminál Zrt. began to change its fleet of mobile loading machinery last year. They purchase two new machines for HUF 300 million. They also made improvements in the software of the crane system. BILK had a successful year in 2006, with a 19 per cent increase in the number of containers handled, exceeding 100 000 TEU. They see the government objective of Hungary becoming an East-West logistic distribution centre as realistic. They expect more moderate growth this year as a result of tax increases and tough competition.
