Czech retail sales increased significantly
The Czech retail trade rose by 7.8 percent in March, in annual comparison, after the 0.6 percent of February – the Czech statistical office (CSÚ) reported on Tuesday in Prague.
In the first quarter, retail sales grew 4.8 percent year-on-year.
Internet sales will continue to grow at the fastest pace, reaching 25.8 percent in March.
Calendar effect adjusted retail sales rose by 7 percent in March compared to the 4.9 percent of February. The calendar effect adjusted quarterly growth rate was 5.1 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
