U.S. retail sales increased
U.S. retail sales increased the fastest extent in February in the last five months; a 1.1 percent increase occurred, compared to January. As analysts expected U.S. retail sales increased seasonally adjusted to 407.81 billion USD – the Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday. The annual increase was 6.5 percent.
Without car sales, retail sales increased by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month, while analysts expected 0.8 percent.
In January, the overall turnover – on the basis of the revised datas – increased by 0.6 percent, while without car sales decreased by 1.6 percent. (MTI)
