Retailers may profit from the switch to online cash registers
According to István Bessenyei, owner-managing director of the Laurel Group, cash registers with PC connection such as Jota, Sento or CashCube can be integrated into SKU management systems. With such retail support systems data accumulating while trading are structured and can be analysed to support planning, purchasing and business management. Laurel’s CHECK system is available in five versions to serve the needs of all retail unit types. For instance a retailer had introduced such a system 3 years ago and sales revenue grew by 14.6 percent in two years, while inventory management became 16 percent more efficient.
