Profession.hu: salary requirements have changed a lot
The fall semester has started at the universities, on the occasion of which Profession.hu prepared its latest analysis of the wage demands and career orientation of employees with various higher education and professional knowledge. On average, former students of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics expect the highest monthly salary, followed by graduates of the Corvinus University of Budapest, then those of the Universities of Miskolc and Óbuda, the analysis shows.
Hungary’s most visited thematic job portal, Profession.hu, prepared its latest analysis, in which it examined the labor market expectations and opportunities of university graduates. Most of the relevant and active users of the sample database previously obtained degrees from ELTE (13%), the University of Debrecen, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (11%) and the University of Pécs (8%). The total sample consisted of 89,000 people.
After obtaining a university degree, those leaving different institutions prefer different fields when applying for their future jobs. ELTE graduates mostly apply for administrative, assistant and HR administration fields, while former BME students apply for project manager, mechanical engineering and administrative jobs, and University of Debrecen graduates prefer administrative, assistant and sales associate positions.
