Profession.hu: Intensification of recruitment is expected in the field of manufacturing and production
In the past year and a half, recruitment in the manufacturing and production sector has continued to slow down, and this trend is in line with the national situation: companies have cut back on hiring, instead focusing much more on retaining existing employees. Despite this, professionals working in the sector are still in demand on the labor market – it is clear from the analysis of the manufacturing and production sector by Profession Services, the recruitment branch of Profession.hu.
The intensity of recruitment has moderated in the field of manufacturing and production, but since this year will be affected by several industrial investments – especially in the eastern regions of the country -, a stronger labor force recruitment is expected compared to the current one. Major players in the industry often recruit interns from educational institutions close to their plants. In addition to the fact that this can be an attractive opportunity for career starters, the employer side can also benefit significantly from a well-functioning internship program. In this way, there is a good chance that novice professionals who live in the area will continue their careers in the given factory, and this way companies can acquire employees who are committed even in the long term.
The recruitment of smaller, rural factories is typically more difficult than this, because they are far from the points where there is a greater absorption of available professionals, but it is also good news for them that employees are increasingly mobile.
