Probiotic, but not yogurt: What is it?
Good news for consumers suffering from milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance, and for vegan people: a young Hungarian researcher is experimenting with probiotic fruit juices. Nikoletta Annamária Farkas, a student of Corvinus University of Budapest is working on the project. She has already won a silver medal for her work in a grant programme of K&H Bank. At the moment the majority of probiotic products available in shops are dairy products, which can’t be consumed by a large number of people. The consumption of probiotic products help digestion and strengthen the immune system.
