Italy’s Eurospin Launches Premium Private Label Line
Italian discounter Eurospin has launched ‘Amo Essere Eccelente’, a new premium private label line dedicated to high quality Italian products.
Many of the products in the range are PDO, PGI and TSG certified and are to meet the demands of customers who pay attention to the origin and processing of raw materials, while at the same time not renouncing convenience, the retailer said.
The private-label assortment includes dairy, dry and filled pasta, sauces and gravies, cured meats, preserves, dressings, desserts and Christmas specialities. Among the products featured in the dairy selection are smoked burrata with white truffle butter, as well as premium variants of Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP cheeses. Flagship products in the pasta selection include stuffed pastas such as the traditional raviolini del plin. Italian truffles, Sicilian date tomatoes and PDO Genoese basil feature in the retailer’s sauces section, while the charcuterie offer features PDO and PGI products such as Mortadella Bologna.
According to Eurospin, Amo Essere Eccellente offers ‘quality, tradition, typicality, and excellence in taste’, and ‘represent an uncompromising journey among the best pleasures of the table’.
The retailer also boast an extensive ‘Amo Essere Biologico’ range of organic products.
