The electronics market started well in 2010 globally
According to the statement of GfK Hungária; A significant growth occured worldwide in the electronics market (consumer electronics, IT, photography and telecommunications), in the first quarter of 2010.
The electronics market in Asia and in the Pacific areas, after the 1 percent decrease between 2008 and 2009 reached a 13 percent growth in euros in the first quarter of 2010, compared to the same period of 2009. The situation was similar in Latin America, where after a 19 percent decline, the market recovered and achieved a large, 38 percent growth in January-March of 2010. Compared to the 15 percent increase of the African and Middle Eastern markets, the Western European market reached a slow 4 percent increase, while in eastern Europe a 12 percent decline occured, counter to the expectations.
