POS Media Hungary: new name for the market leader point-of-sale marketing agency
A new chapter beginsin the life of POS Services Kft.: from September 15, 2025, the agency specializing in retail media, promotions, events, digital solutions and influencer marketing will continue its activities under the name POS Media Hungary. The name change means more than a simple image refresh – it expresses belonging to the international group of companies.
POS Media Hungary has been operating as a member of the Prague-based POS Media Europe for nearly 30 years, which plays a market leading role in point-of-sale marketing throughout Europe. With the name change, the Hungarian subsidiary joins the group’s unified brand name and the name used in other countries.
Over the years, the agency has built many long-term partnerships with market-leading local and global retail chains, and its portfolio includes both world-renowned FMCG and non-FMCG brands and local companies. Together with its creative agency, Peaktime Agency, they have won numerous professional awards – most recently, in the spring of 2025, they returned home with two world championship titles at the international Shop! POPAI Global Awards competition, one of the most prestigious competitions in point-of-sale marketing.

The fall was also a milestone for the agency in terms of professional events. The annual retail marketing competition, Showroom, was held for the seventh time between September 25th and October 1st. This year’s event surpassed previous years in terms of both entries and number of participants: it ended with 51 exhibited devices, 80 partners and more than 200 participants. The GOBUDA Mall Interspar hosted the entries again during the 5 days.
At the closing gala dinner, the 2025 award winners were announced in three categories: in the Primary Placements category, the APLRO application of Danone Hungary Kft., and in the Secondary Placements category, the Savencia Fromage & Dairy Hungary Zrt. MEDVE’s application won the award. The Peaktime Agency Special Award this year was won by the DORITOS application and its owner, Magyarüdítő Forgalmazó Kft. . 30 companies and more than 100 guests celebrated the winners at the gala dinner.
This year’s successes include the introduction of a new digital shop-in-shop. The new POS device is not only a spectacular and decorative solution, but with its innovative screens and modular shelving systems, it is excellent for delivering a more complex campaign message, while raising point-of-sale communication and the shopping experience to a new level.
