Pop category for the more relaxed places
The Gault et Millau French restaurant guide introduces a new category in its 2017 edition. The restaurant guide chose Alexandre Couillon, the owner of the La Marine in Noirmoutier, Western France – as the chef of the year.
After the Michelin Guide, the second largest French gastronomic guide awarded 240 quality places in the Pop category on ots online surface. The Pop category includes more relaxed places, such as cafés, wine and cocktail bars, Pizza Restaurants and street food places. (MTI)
