World organization of FMCG companies initiating political discussions
“Hands up, if you are selling now like you did ffive years ago” – British TV-personality and moderator Alex Thomson turned to his audience consisting of 850 major leaders within the FMCG scene. Leaders sitting in the room of Centre Covencions International laughed out loud when they heard the question, but of course nobody put their hands up.
No wonder, as the key topic of the conference was the way leaders (from WalMart to Cerreforu to Nestlé and Coca-Cola) can sell effociently in spite of the stormy economic environment. One of the possible solutions is to get into political agreements iin order to provide a more stable background. But how do leaders and experts see the solutions to this very problem? More details are coming up in the next issue of Trade magazine, within the compass of a special report straight from the venue.
