PM: companies intend to increase wages by 10 percent this year
According to the feedbacks, the companies are trying to increase their wages by around 10 percent or a little more this year – Marczinkó Zoltán, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Finance told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
The Deputy Minister of State responsible for Labor Market and Corporate Relations added that this would boost the economy, and strong labor demand would drive wage increases.
Capacity-building investments by companies, as well as the implementation of EU investments, will mean labor market demand – this also pushes up earnings – he added. (MTI)
