Going to the mall – online
German online shop OTTO and shopping centre operator ECE – which belong to the same group – have established a joint venture called Stocksquare, which connects physical stores with online retail.
Shoppers can check at Otto.de if the product they want to buy is available in a nearby store; if yes, the can buy it online and collect it in the shopping centre or have it delivered to their homes. The service works with nearly 20,000 products and about 90 shopping centres at the moment.
