Mall Construction fever in Turkey and in Russia
In the first part of 2013, more mall spaces were handed over in Russia than in any other European country. The second in this race became Turkey. Half of the total mall handovers were carried out by these two countries – the European Shopping Centre Development study of Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) shows.

A total of 1.8 million square meter new mall space was created in the first half of this year. It is expected that by the end of this year, 4.9 million square meters of mall space will be handed over, of which 70 percent can be found Central and Eastern Europe (including Turkey). (portfolio.hu)
