Pizza dough is recalled by ALDI due to tomato sauce
For consumer protection reasons, ALDI Magyarország Élelmiszer Bt. recalls the “600 CGINA NOBILE classic or rustic pizza dough with tomato sauce, 600 gram product, from all its stores in Hungary, because the tomato sauce packed next to the pizza dough can contain metal pieces,” – the store told MTI.
It was written that the supplier of tomato sauce, the Wewalka GmbH Nfg. KG cannot completely rule out the possibility of further metal fragments occurring in the bottles. The potential danger only affects tomato sauce packaged with the product, the consumption of tomato sauce is not recommended by ALDI. Pizza dough can be eaten without further ado, they wrote. (MTI)
