Pénzügykutató: Hungary’s GDP could grow by 3.8 percent this year
In Hungary, GDP may expand by 3.8 percent this year, the general government deficit may reach 7.7 percent of the GDP, and the government debt ratio may decline to 80.2 percent by the end of the year – Pénzügykutató Zrt. predicted in its analysis submitted to MTI on Wednesday.
They emphasized that the government would stimulate an economy that is already recovering from external market effects by further increasing the general government deficit; By the end of the year, inflation will rise above 4 percent and the forint will weaken further. (MTI)
