Institute of Finance: beside a 2.3 percent economic growth household consumption may increase by one and a half percent
This year, the gross domestic product (GDP) will increase by 2.3 percent, beside a 4 percent inflation rate – said Petschnig Mária Zita at the press conference of the Institute of Finance Zrt. on Friday in Budapest.
Household consumption will grow by 1.5 percent, real wages will decline by 0.3 percent, investments will expand by 2.5 percent this year.
The employment may increase by 1 percent resulting 30 thousand new jobs.
By the end of the year, prime rate that is currently 6.0 percent may decrease to 5.75 percent. The euro exchange rate in December may be 276 HUF – reports MTI.
