Money or jobs?
According to the datas of Randstad Workmonitor, while more than half of the Spaniards or the Greeks would sacrifice a portion of their salary, only the third of the Hungarians would undertake this if it can save their jobs. The willingness to sacrifice appears to be related with the standard of living.
The majority of Hungarians would not sacrifice a part of their salary, even if they could have preserve their jobs – shows the Spring 2012 datas of the Randstad Workmonitor. In Hungary, only 27 percent of respondents would assume financial sacrifices in order to avoid layoffs in their work place, but only 36 percent would accept the salary reduction, if this could save even their own your jobs.
