The CBA’s “A Basket of Love” fundraising campaign, which supports the National Association of Large Families, will run from Friday to Sunday. Donors are welcome at 25 locations nationwide in CBA, Príma and Privát stores.

With Advent approaching, thinking about others, those in need, and helping them is one of the noblest things to do – said Attila Beneda, Deputy State Secretary for Family Affairs at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, at the Budapest event announcing the fundraiser on Thursday. at a press conference.

He reminded that the government is trying to help and support families as widely as possible. For example, it has introduced personal income tax exemption for mothers with three children, which will also apply to mothers with two children, and the fixed 3 percent Home Start Program has been launched, which helps young people create homes. In addition to government support, however, the civil and economic spheres also need to come together, he pointed out.

Gábor Herbert, president of the National Association of Large Families (NOE), said that the success of the campaign is indicated not only by the amount of donations collected, but also by the joy the gift evokes in children and parents, and the impact it has on the donor.

Attila Fodor, communications director of CBA, emphasized that as a Hungarian retail chain, they consider it important to support those in more difficult situations.

Remembered:

The beneficiary of the pre-Advent fundraising campaign is NOE, which guarantees that the collected donations reach the social groups that need them the most.

Last year, the fundraising campaign called One Basket of Love collected 10.5 tons of food and other donations.
