Bread alliance: bread prices will not increase due to the composition change
The bread prices are not expected to rise because the proportion of raw materials will change, for example the composition in case of whole grain breads and rye breads, while consumers get better flavor products, Lakatos Tibor, the Vice President of the Hungarian Baker’s Association told MTI on Monday.
The new provisions of the Hungarian Foodstuff Book on breads will come into effect on Thursday. For instance, rye content should be increased in rye breads from 40 to 60 percent, and in case of breads with rye from 15.1 percent to 30 percent. (MTI)
