The preparation containing ragweed has been blocked by Nébih
During a number of official inspections, a total of about 10 liters of illegally sold ragweed products intended for human consumption were immediately removed from the market and officially sealed by inspectors of the National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih) at a company in Zala County.
The agency said in a statement on Wednesday that they had also ordered a ban on the marketing of the food concerned and its recall.
After the first inspection, the company initiated the recall of the product ragweed + extract found by the company in accordance with official regulations, but a subsequent random inspection revealed that the company was also formulating another product containing ragweed as Cseppecske +. (MTI)
