Paperless parking introduced in Allee
Paperless parking has been introduced in Allee, the new system provides automatic entry and exit based on license plate number. The development aims to make parking more convenient and sustainable, reduce waiting times, and avoid congestion.
The new license plate recognition-based system not only makes parking in the shopping center easier for customers, but the paperless solution also plays an important role in Allee’s sustainability efforts. “The development provides faster entry and exit for cars, which in itself reduces the environmental impact. There will no longer be a need to use parking tickets and cards, thanks to which the amount of waste will be reduced by several kilograms per year. In the future, there will be no need for ticket printers – charging and servicing – either, so the operation will also become more sustainable,” emphasizes András Juhász, manager of the Allee center.
In addition to being faster, the ticketless technology based on license plate recognition is more accurate and reliable than the previous system. From now on, drivers arriving at the parking lot only have to slow down in front of the barrier, where the camera automatically records the car’s license plate number and allows the vehicle to enter without having to pull a parking ticket. This way, there is no longer any need to look for a ticket before leaving, and to pay the parking fee, all you have to do is enter the license plate number at the parking machines, and when exiting, the vehicle will be automatically released based on the recorded license plate number. Problems with abandoned or damaged parking tickets will be eliminated, thereby improving the customer experience. In addition, the parking time will be automatically recorded, which can also reduce the possibility of errors. Entry and exit without a parking ticket is faster, which can also reduce congestion.
