Miklós Panyi: the Hungarian wine industry can make Hungarian champagne a success
The Hungarian wine industry is capable of making Hungarian sparkling wine a success – emphasized the Parliamentary and Strategic State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office on Friday at the conference in Etyek.
According to Miklós Panyi, there are excellent professionals working in the wine industry who are “effervescent with the desire to do something”. The Hungarian government is a committed partner in achieving their goals, as the development of the industry is organically linked to one of its most important missions, rural development, he added.
The state secretary said that in the past decade and a half, they have supported restructuring, winemaking and investments aimed at innovation, the purpose of which is to promote the use of the latest technologies, reach new markets and consumers, and increase efficiency.
Miklós Panyi also spoke about how the future and state of the sparkling wine industry affects not only those who live in it, those who work directly with it, but also has an impact on the Hungarian countryside, the economy, hospitality, and tourism, and affects the state of the local community, as well as the country’s image.
