Palkovics: the government is working to make Hungary the freight transport and logistics center of Central Europe
The government is working to make Hungary the freight transport, logistics and distribution center of Central Europe. For this it is essential that the country benefits as much as possible from the goods traffic between Europe and Asia, said the Minister of Technology and Industry on Friday in Budapest, at the ceremony organized on the occasion of the 72nd Railway Day of the Rail Cargo Hungaria Zrt.
Palkovics László added: the government prioritizes the development of the railway, this century will be the century of the railway. There is every chance for this, partly with the investments already underway, such as the development of the Budapest-Belgrade railway line, said the head of the ministry. (MTI)
