Fifty billion worth tourism giant established

With the uniting of SCD Group Zrt. and Hunguest Hotels Zrt. (HH) the largest Hungarian tourism company will be set up – announced Jászai Gellért, chairman and majority owner of the SCD Group.

In the scope of the transaction, the Magyar Turisztikai Holding Zrt. (MTH) purchases the  third of Hunguest Hotels Zrt.
The MTH will be the owner of the largest hospitalitist near the Lake Balaton, the Balatontourist Zrt. and the Fly Balaton International Airport, beside the second largest domestic hotel chain. In addition MTH will continue the SCD Group’s 450 million euros Balaton Development Programme – reports portfolio.hu.
