More than five hundred pálinkas and liqueurs at the pálinka festival in Gyula
Five hundred and eleven items were entered to the 16th International Pálinka Festival, which will take place between 17 and 19 April in Gyula – Lovász Sándor main organizer informed MTI on Thursday.
In addition to Hungary, pálinkas and liqueurs were sent from Armenia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Abkhazia to the competition. Last year, a total of 660 items were sent by the contestants. Lovász Sándor and Lovassy György, the director of competition said that the 21-member jury began the “sensory pre-jurying” of the spirits on Thursday. (MTI)
