Heineken's profits rose by one fifth in the first quarter
Dutch Heineken has increased the group's turnover and profits in the first quarter, thanks to the strengthening of the African, Asian and European markets – the company said on Wednesday.
The world's third largest beer brewery''s EBIT (profit before tax and interest payment) without corporate acquisitions increased by 20 percent on a year to year comparision in the period from January to March.
The company's turnover increased to 3.6 billion euros, from previous year's 2.9 billion euros. Analysts expected a turnover of 3.53 billion euros – reports MTI.
