In July–September 2025, farmers received a fifth less fertilizer than in the same period a year earlier. Demand for lime ammonium nitrate (MAS) decreased by about a third compared to the same period a year earlier. With the exception of potassium chloride (+39.1 percent), MAP (+49.8 percent) and urea (+31.8 percent), sales decreased for all monitored products in July–September 2025 compared to the third quarter of 2024.

Comparing the same two periods, sales prices were 8–27 percent higher compared to the base period. If we compare the average sales prices in the third quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2025, they increased by 3–15 percent, with the exception of the prices of urea (–6.9 percent), MAS (–3 percent) and Nitrosol, DAM (–1.7 percent). In the case of plant protection products, based on the data for the months of July–September 2025, farmers purchased 5.4 percent more of the observed products than in the same period a year earlier. The volume of herbicides sold increased by 8.7 percent, while insecticides decreased by 17.2 percent and fungicides by 6.8 percent compared to the third quarter of 2024. The average sales price of the examined fungicides – with the exception of Thiovit Jet (–9.3 percent) – exceeded the value of the third quarter of the previous year in the period under review (by 2–11 percent). Compared to the second quarter of 2025, the prices of Pulsar Plus (+41.5 percent) and Ercole (+16.1 percent) increased the most, while more significant price decreases occurred in the case of Caramba Turbo (–9 percent) and Laudis (–4.5 percent).
