Pepsi’s five billion dollar deal in Russia
U.S. PepsiCo, bought the largest Russian food and beverage producer, the Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods (WBD) for 5.4 billion USD.
According to the Thursday announcement; in the first round, PepsiCo will acquire 66 percent of the WBD for 3.8 billion USD, and then after the transaction is completed, the company will buy the rest as well. The shares of Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods increased by 27 percent after the news released – reports kreativ.hu.
