A five-star hotel opened in Szántód
The five-star Mövenpick BalaLand Resort and FamilyPark in Szántód was handed over on Friday. Gergely Gulyás, Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office, said at the event: the development of services is important, the Hungarian economy is truly successful if, in addition to industry, the service sector operates at the highest level.
The politician emphasized: the hotel industry has undergone serious development in Hungary in recent years, and not only in the capital and at Lake Balaton, but also everywhere in the coming times, it faces great opportunities, because “where there is high-quality hospitality, there is great progress”.
There should be as many similar places as possible in the countryside to provide guests with the highest level of hospitality, gastronomy, and a wellness program, he said. At the same time, he expressed his hope that the hotel and service sector will be able to contribute to the development of the Hungarian economy to a large extent in the coming years.
