REtail volume of chocolate growing in Hungary
In eleven countries of the region – among them, Hungary – the retail volume of chocolate has been a 5.6 billion euros as a total between April 2010 and March 2011 – Nielsen's survey about the chocolate market pointed out.
The two biggest countries, Russia and Poland cover a 65 percent of the market in value terms. The the former category, outlets reached a 2.56 billion, in the latter category a 1.07 in value terms. Then comes Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and in the Baltics: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
