The sown area of soy increased to its five-fold in Veszprém county in the last five years, autumn forage crops are promising – the Veszprém County Government Office told MTI.
Field works are speeding up from the second half of April. Due to the winter, spring woks are in a 2.3 weeks delay. Therefore, the spring barley grows on just over 5,000 hectares instead of the average 6500-7000 hectares, while peas are grown on only 200 hectares, which is half of the usual. (MTI)
