An autumn wine fair is organized on Dóm Square in Szeged
From Wednesday, more than a hundred wine producers are waiting for locals and tourists coming to the city at the gastronomic festival called Bor tér on Dóm tér in Szeged, the organizers informed MTI.
Organized for the twelfth time now, 112 wineries are waiting for interested parties at Bor tér. In addition to the finest wines, pálinka houses and caterers will also set up shop, and craft exhibitors will also add color to the festival with their products. In addition to four wineries, four small-scale breweries, a pálinka house, as well as trumpet cakes and kényérlángos await guests in the adjacent Martyrs Square in Arad.
Bor tér has been free to visit since the beginning, but wine can only be consumed from a glass. There are two versions of this, a 480 ml glass with the Bor tér emblem and a 350 ml, returnable glass with the coat of arms of Szeged.
On Wednesday evening, the programs begin with a spectacular vintage parade from the city center. For five days on Dóm tér, on two smaller stages, groups playing music suitable for drinking wine – mostly jazz and blues performers – will entertain the guests.
