Autumn in a new guise: Auchan appeals to all ages with its seasonal offering
Halloween is gaining more and more popularity in Hungary every year. It is no longer just a children’s holiday, but has increasingly become a community experience, where every member of the family participates in creating the atmosphere. Auchan is preparing for the season with a wide range of products this year, in addition to classic costumes and sweets, more and more new products for the home, garden and even pets have found their place on the shelves. While Halloween is becoming more and more popular, the All Hallows’ Day product range remains firmly present in Auchan’s assortment. The two holidays and their associated product ranges are present side by side, complementing each other in stores, as commemoration and a playful atmosphere are both part of the autumn period.
Halloween on October 31st is a Celtic tradition that marked the end of summer and the beginning of the new year. It originally evolved from the holiday called Samhain, when it was believed that the spirits of the dead would return to earth. People lit fires and wore masks to scare away evil spirits. In addition to “ghost chips” and Halloween-packaged fruits, this year new, stickered pumpkins will also be released in smaller sizes with a playful design. By the way, the Halloween pumpkins available are only suitable for carving.

Of course, we don’t forget about All Hallows’ Day, which is in no way supplanted by Halloween. We face greater customer demands every year, which is why the number of products included in this category is also growing every year”

The season also includes several limited edition products. Interestingly, not only in the food and decoration categories, but this year there will also be dog food and toys for pets in special Halloween packaging.

The price range of the offer is wide — from 300 forints to 22,990 forints — so everyone can find products that match the festive mood, whether it is a small home decoration or organizing a full party.
