The volume of coffee exports increased, but national data differ
World coffee exports amounted to 11.11 million bags in June 2022, compared with 10.97 million in June 2021.
Exports in the first nine months of coffee year 2021/22 (October/21 to June/22) have increased by 0.5% to 98.77 million bags compared with 98.32 million bags in the same period in 2020/21.
In the 12 months ending June 2022, exports of Arabica totaled 80.78 million bags compared with 82.59 million bags last year; whereas Robusta exports amounted to 49.20 million bags compared with 46.94 million bags for the previous year.
