Farmers spent a lot on fertilizers

Because of the persistent rains and due to the inland water in several areas the farm work and the harvest is going slowly. For example in Békés county 5-7 percent of the 106 thousand hectares of winter wheat remained unmade, while the majority of farmers are prepared to make a “rich” seed bed.

The fertilizer turnover inOctober compared to September has subsided a little, but still a very significant amount consumed from lime ammonia nitrate. The Autumn is the period of resupplying the ground. The datas of the Agricultural Research Institute clearly show that there is an intense demand towards fertilizers. (by our colleague)
