The domestic traffic pulled the tourism during the autumn

In October, the number of nights spent by foreign visitors increased by 1.7 percent, while the overnight stays of domestic tourists increased by 12 percent, compare to a year earlier. The total guest traffic of the accommodation establishments increased by 6.4 percent – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Monday.

In October last year, 2.7 percent more, a total of 398 thousand foreign guests spent one million 10 thousand guest nights in commercial accommodation.

The 12.4 percent more, 418 thousand domestic guests spent 940 thousand guest nights in commercial accommodations during the autumn. (MTI)
