The tobacco industry’s investors urge to join forces against tobacco black market
According to GfK Hungária’s research, the illegal sales of cigarettes increased to 11.8 percent by the end of last year in Hungary, compared to the nearly 8 percent ratio, that was measured in May and June – the Association of Tobacco Industry Investors in Hungary (DBMSZ) told on Friday, urging to join forces against tobacco black market.
The DBMSZ whose member companies are the BAT Pécsi Dohánygyár Kft., the Continental Dohányipari Zrt., the Imperial Tobacco Magyarország Kft., the Universal Leaf Tobacco Magyarország Zrt. the Róna Dohányfeldolgozó Kft., the Philip Morris Magyarország Kft. and the JTI Hungary Zrt. calls the retailers, the government and authorities to join forces curb the illegal trade of tobacco products.
