Viktor Orbán: the food price freeze will remain in place until inflation begins to decline
The first parliamentary session of the spring session was supposed to start with Viktor Orbán’s speech before the agenda, but in the end he was only able to deliver his speech later.
In connection with the food price freeze, he emphasized that inflation will remain as long as it is not on a downward trajectory, and this is also true for the household interest rate freeze, which will be maintained until interest rates drop substantially.
Since the war, inflation has been sweeping the world, and an economic crisis is threatening. If the war continues, then hyperinflation and economic collapse are also threatened, and no one in the world can feel safe, it could even become a world war, he said.
