The Purchasing Manager Index keeps growing
In March the seasonally adjusted value of the Purchasing Manager Index was 55.6 points – informed the Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management (MLBKT). This data indicates that the majority of survey participants reported more favourable trends than in February. From April 2013 until August the index was constantly around 50 points, but now it has been growing for 20 months. In March 2015 there was a 0.6 percentage point rise from the February level. In five months of the last six the expansion was the same and the March 2015 value is the highest March value since March 2007. The production volume index was up from the February level, the new orders index grew even more but the delivery lead time was longer in March than in February.
