Opten: more companies were established and less were terminated than a year ago
In the third quarter of this year, 8482 companies were abolished, 6709 foundations were created, so in three months the number of domestic companies decreased by nearly two thousand – Világgazdaság Online wrote on the basis of Opten’s announcement.
At the end of September, 526,000 companies were operating in the country, but 50,000 of them are already undergoing a process of termination. The number of company foundations is 6 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, while the number of company terminations is 8 percent lower than in the same period of the previous year, so the downward trend that has been decreasing for many years seems to be slightly weakened.
