Online Cash Registers: 100 million HUF fines 10 closed stores due to omissions
Problems were found at more than one tenth of the tested stores when the staff of the National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) carried out targeted checks in connection with the wiring of online cash registers – the Chairman of the NAV told onlinekassza.hu.
Vágujhelyi Ferenc also spoke about the tricks, how the merchant are trying to circumvent the system. The authorities have carried out 16 thousand targeted inspections, imposed 100 million HUF fines and closed 10 stores. Vágújhely added that faults or deficiencies were identified in 1,752 times.
